About Daria
I am a registered psychologist experienced in working with mood and anxiety disorders, trauma and stress-related disorders, exploring neurodivergency, impulse control and behavioural regulation issues, problematic substance use and addictive behaviours, issues related to intimacy and sexuality, as well as providing general mental health support.
I aim to provide a compassionate, neurodiversity and LGBTQIA+ affirming, non-judgemental environment where one can actively explore and embrace their identity, work through challenges, and improve overall well-being.
I focus on a collaborative, person-centred, trauma-informed approach, drawing from a multitude of evidence-based therapies, to ensure the engagement is catered to the individual needs of a client.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my dog and close people, rotating through a never-ending list of hobbies and interests, and being a tourist in my city.

Office and Accessibility
Location and Office Access
The office is in close proximity to Elizabeth St, Bourke St, Swanston St, Collins St, and Williams St tram corridors. It is a short distance from Flinders Street, Melbourne Central, and Town Hall train stations.
There is no onsite parking available.
The office is accessible by lift. The doors into the main suite and practice room are standard width and would accommodate most wheelchairs.
There is a male bathroom on the floor of the office, with a female and another male bathroom accessible via stairs. An accessible bathroom can be accessed via the lift on Level 1.
Seating Options
Comfort is important during sessions. You're welcome to choose whichever seating option feels most comfortable for you:
- Couch
- Floor cushions
- Large padded mat
Sensory Concerns
Unfortunately, there is no natural light in the room.
There are covers on the overhead lights that reduce the overall brightness and make the light 'warmer', but you might want to bring a cap or sunglasses if you find bright lights overstimulating.
There is usually quiet background music playing in the waiting area. Scents are kept to a minimum.
There is a collection of fidgets that you can use during the session. You are also welcome to bring your own tools and toys, but please refrain from bringing loud clicking or snapping toys and tools (think clicking pen sounds) and those that can leave a mess (e.g. slime).
