Appointment Fees

The current National Schedule of Suggested Fees by the two major psychology bodies in Australia recommend $330 (AAPi) and $318 (APS) for a 46-60 minute consultation appointment (2025-2026 FY). TIME standard consultation (50 mins) fees are set at approximately 70% of the recommended fee.

70-80 minutes - For clients that may prefer a longer session to unpack. Clients engaging in EMDR therapy may prefer extended appointments. 		$335 (standard) - $390 (after-hours)
NDIS self-managed clients are welcome *
NDIS clients are treated as private paying clients, payment is made on the day of the appointment and the client can claim privately with the paid invoice provided. TIME is not NDIS or NDIA registered and therefore can only accept clients who are self-managed. 		(rates as per above)

*Concession fee appointments have limited availability. Assessed on a case-by-case basis. Current clients and concession card holders are prioritised.

*Rebates are processed once an appointment fee has been paid in full. Bulk billing is not available.

Payment Information

  • Payment is required at the time of appointment
  • Accepted payment methods: Credit/debit card, bank transfer
  • Medicare rebates are processed electronically after payment

Cancellation policy

  • A minimum of 48 hours' notice is required to cancel or reschedule your psychology appointments. This allows the open slot to be filled with someone else in need. Note, this time frame applies to business days; if your appointment is on a Tuesday, please give notice by Friday.
  • All cancellations made within 48 hours of your appointment time will incur a cancellation fee which is half the cost (50%) of the session fee. The full appointment fee (100%) will be charged for same-day cancellations and non-attendance. Exceptions are made for emergencies at the psychologist's discretion.
  • Cancellation fees are not eligible for rebates.
