You can book an appointment by emailing [email protected] . Please include a brief description of what you're seeking support for, your preferred appointment times, and whether you'd like in-person or telehealth sessions.
You don't need a referral to see a psychologist privately. However, if you want to claim Medicare rebates, you'll need a Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP) from your GP or a referral from a psychiatrist.
The first session is an opportunity to discuss what brings you to therapy, your goals, and any relevant background information. We'll also talk about how therapy works and answer any questions you have. It's a collaborative process, and there's no pressure to share more than you're comfortable with.
Standard sessions are 50 minutes. Extended sessions of 70-80 minutes are also available.
A minimum of 48 hours' notice is required to cancel or reschedule your psychology appointments. Please see the Fees & Rebates page for full details.
